In September, Levy, of Beaufoy Road, Tottenham, north London, was charged with murdering Sheryl Wilkins, 39, who was found unresponsive in High Road, Tottenham, on August 24.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

He is also accused of grievous bodily harm with intent, non-fatal strangulation and two counts of rape against a third woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Haringey, north London, on January 21.

During the hearing at the Central Criminal Court, he will face two charges of murder and other counts relating to the rape and assault of a third woman.
