London gun attack sparks police manhunt as three men shot in north west of capital

Two of the men were left with serious injuries after the shooting in the borough of Brent.

Police say they were called to Dog Lane just after 7pm, following reports that a person had been shot.

Police and paramedics responded and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

Two further victims, a 21-year-old man and another man also believed to be in his early 20s, were found nearby.

All three were taken to hospital for treatment.

The 17-year-old’s injuries have been assessed as non life changing.

Police said the 21-year-old has a potentially life changing injury.

The man believed to be in his early 20s remains in a serious but stable condition.

Metropolitan Police firearms officers responded as part of the incident.

Police do not know yet how many suspects were involved, but they fled prior to the arrival of armed officers.

Armed response officers, who have trauma training, provided emergency first aid to the victims until the arrival of paramedics.

Scotland Yard confirmed detectives have not yet made any arrests.
