Firefighters have assembled near Paddington Railway Station in London to tackle a fire at a hotel.
Crews in 10 fire engines were called to the property on Craven Road, Paddington, just after 16:30 GMT.
The cause is currently unknown, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
Road closures are in place and people have been urged to avoid the area by the fire service.
Neighbouring properties have been evacuated as a precautionary measure, according to an LFB spokesperson.
Crews from Paddington, Kennington, North Kensington, Euston and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
