A Labour MP has caused fury after making a joke about The Queen missing the speech for the opening of Parliament.
Her Majesty was forced to watch the speech from Windsor Castle with her son Charles standing in for her, due to ongoing mobility issues.
The Prince of Wales said his mum was fine and was hoping to attend Platinum Jubilee celebrations in person.
But Labour MP for Ealing Central and Acton, Rupa Huq, used the situation to make a joke about the Government's measures.

She wrote: "With such a thin Queen's Speech, no wonder Her Majesty chose to work from home today."
But Twitter users didn't see the funny side, blasting the MP for joking about the health of the 96-year-old monarch.
One Twitter user replied: "Bad joke Rupa, withdraw please."

Another added: "Get a grip, you're an elected MP. Show some respect for our Queen."
While one wrote: "You are an elected MP. This comment is out of order."
It comes as the Government’s legislation plan, laid out in the Queen’s Speech and read out by the Prince of Wales in the absence of the Queen, came under attack.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer called the response to cost of living demands “pathetic” and accused the Government of being “bereft of leadership”.
He told Mr Johnson: “This Government’s failure to grow the economy over a decade, combined with its inertia in the face of spiralling bills, means that we are staring down the barrel of something we haven’t seen in decades, a stagflation crisis.”
