The alleged offence is the latest in a series of unrelated attacks on Tesco employees across Britain

A group of thugs has threatened Tesco staff with a knuckle duster before stealing a basket full of stolen goods.

The store has released CCTV images of the reported offenders, which Kent police have shared.


The alleged incident occurred at the supermarket on Crescent Road, Faversham, at approximately 11.20pm on Friday.

A security guard initially challenged two men after noticing suspicious behaviour by the pair.

The men then produced the weapon and threatened the employee, according to the report, subjecting them to racist abuse.

The pair escaped the store with a basket full of stolen goods.

Kent Police officers are now investigating the claims and are looking to speak to the two men.

A police spokesman said: “Investigating officers would now like to identify and speak to the two men pictured.

The attack occurred at a Durham City supermarket where Dodsworth launched the bottle at a staff member, narrowly missing their head, before stealing a substantial amount of alcohol.

Dean Watson, 44, in Barnsley, was put behind bars after he stole booze from Tesco and spat at and kicked police officers after he was detained.

He stole multiple bottles of alcohol, worth over £138, before attempting to flee on foot.
