Ian Huntley's daughter has said the "devil is waiting" for her killer biological father and called for his ashes to be "flushed down the toilet".
The Soham killer, 52, died on Saturday, nine days after a brutal attack by a fellow inmate at maximum security prison HMP Frankland, County Durham, that left him in a coma and a vegetative state.
With the agreement of his mother, Lynda Richards, who sat at his bedside, Huntley's life support machine was switched off over the weekend.
Cheering and chanting could be heard throughout the prison, nicknamed "Monster Mansion" for its population of Britain's worst convicts, upon hearing of the child killer's death, the Daily Star reports.
Triple killer Anthony Russell, 43, is suspected of being his attacker.
A 3ft metal bar was allegedly used to bludgeon Huntley in the attack during a workshop, leaving him lying in a pool of his own blood and his head "split in two".
The "monster" Huntley was serving a life sentence after murdering ten-year-old schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002, and has been rotting in prison since.
Few tears will be shed for one of the nation's most notorious and crazed killers and certainly not his own daughter, Samantha Bryan, who declared he can "burn in hell".

| PA"He shouldn’t have the dignity of a funeral and grave. I will not be going. A funeral is pointless for a man like him," she told The Sun on Sunday.
"Funerals are supposed to be about celebrating someone’s life and there’s nothing about him to celebrate. It takes up people’s valuable time and he’s not worth it.
"There’s no point having a funeral as he’ll burn in hell. There is no place for him in heaven. The devil is waiting."
The bodies of Holly and Jessica were found in a ditch about 10 miles away from Soham, near RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, a fortnight after they went missing in August 2002.

As a former school caretaker, Huntley had been fabricating his concern for the girls in TV interviews, but was later charged and convicted.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment in December 2003 and given a 40-year minimum term.
Huntley has been subject to violence in prison throughout his sentence. In 2010, his throat was slashed and, during his stay at HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire, he was splashed with boiling water.
Samantha's mother, Katie Bryan, advocated the same as her daughter for her ex-boyfriend, whom she met at the age of 15.
"I just cannot get out of my head what he did to Holly and Jessica and how he left them in a ditch," Mrs Bryan said.
"For that reason why should he be given the dignity of a grave? I don’t think he deserves a resting place. A Christian burial is for good people and he’s the devil. He’s evil. I know he’s going to burn in hell."
Samantha is Huntley's only child. While Katie was pregnant, he is said to have abused and raped her and pushed her down the stairs.
Samantha did not find out until she was 14 that Huntley was her biological father, after a school project led her to dig through her area's most notorious crimes, and she stumbled across a pixelated photograph of herself and her mother on Google.

| Google mapsWhen discussing her biological father's death, Samantha said: "I felt relieved. I didn’t cry. I smiled. I was over the moon to be honest.
"I’m just glad he’s gone. It wasn’t as much of a shock as when I heard last week he’d been terribly injured as I thought he’d died then.
"So I was kind of expecting this call. But at the same time it is a shock to be told your biological father is dead. He’s nothing to me apart from biology."
She continued: "I do wish I had met him before he died for the reason just to see what he would say, if he was sat in front of me . . . if he had the chance. But now he’s gone I’m not going to hold on to that and wallow in the fact I’ve never met him. I have to accept I’m not going to get the answers I was seeking.
"Whatever kind of hold he’s had on me the whole time I’ve known about him and what he’s done, I’m going to no longer allow it to cloud my life. He’s gone. I don’t have to think about him any more. I don’t have to carry that burden with me."
Samantha added she has "cried many times" over Holly and Jessica and the thought of "what their family have gone through".
"I don’t ever want Holly and Jessica to ever be forgotten."
