A man had to be wrestled to the ground by security personnel at Heathrow Airport this weekend after a bizarre chase unfolded across the tarmac.
The dramatic incident at Britain's busiest airport was captured on video by a member of the public.
Footage showed the individual running within just a few metres of both moving and stationary aircraft.
At least four staff members were seen pursuing him on foot across the airport grounds.
The man, wearing some kind of belt around his waist, was seen careering around the tarmac at Terminal 2

The extraordinary chase lasted approximately one minute before additional personnel arrived to intervene.
The pursuit continued as the man managed to evade the airport staff chasing him on foot.
A van then arrived at the scene before two more staff jumped out to apprehend the runaway individual.
Following the intervention of the van personnel, the man finally stopped running and was escorted away from the aircraft.

Police officers subsequently arrived at the scene and pinned the man to the ground before arresting him.
The witness who filmed the incident could be heard saying: "What is going on here? Why would there be people running? That geezer is running from someone, they are chasing him.
"What is going on? Isn't there anyone fit enough to take him down?" he added.
"They are going to have to stop the operations, they are going to have to stop aircraft moving, he is running straight towards them."

After the man was finally stopped, the witness added: "What the hell was that all about?"
"If that was America, there would be 50 vehicles there by now, 700 police."
A Heathrow spokesman said that the incident, involving an "individual who accessed the airfield taxiway", was "quickly resolved".
"The individual has been removed from the airport. The airport continues to operate as normal and passengers are travelling as planned," the spokesman added.
