Harry Dunn’s friend has told GB News that he and the family will "continue to protest every year" until they "get the justice that we and him deserve."
The 19-year-old was killed when his motorbike crashed into a car outside US military base RAF Croughton on August 27 2019.
US citizen Anne Sacoolas was charged with causing death by dangerous driving four months later.
She had diplomatic immunity asserted on her behalf following the crash and was able to leave the country, sparking an international controversy.
Speaking to GB News’ Alice Porter, friend of Dunn, Zak Veltkamp, reflected on their friendship: “Harry obviously loved travelling, always up and down the coast. Spending as much time at the beach, Durdle Door, all the lovely coastal parts and routes he loved to take.
“We used to hang out a lot together whether it was in the car, following on his motorbike. There was a lot of driving. We had many good times out on the road together, a lot of touring.”
Veltkamp also has a tattoo to commemorate their friendship and to mark the ongoing campaign for justice.

On Saturday, bikers and supporters met at the US Embassy in Nine Elms, south London, to mark the anniversary.
The event was organised by Dunn’s family’s supporters.
Veltkamp explained the motivations behind the protest, saying: “It’s just a nice peaceful protest to show we are still present and that we will not forget him.
“We will continue every year until we get the justice that we and he deserve of course, for his family as well as himself.”
Sacoolas was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court earlier this year in January.
However, days before her appearance, the Crown Prosecution Service said the hearing had been vacated to enable ongoing discussions between the CPS and Sacoolas’s legal representatives to continue.
