Hamas has fired rockets at the Israeli town that was attacked during the original October 7 attack.
Netiv HaAsara was one of the first places attacked in 2023, when 20 of the small town's 1,200 residents were killed.
On Tuesday, they were marking the second anniversary when a rocket was fired at the farming community, located just north of the Gaza Strip.
No casualties have been reported.

Around 1,200 people were murdered by Hamas and allied terror groups, most of whom were civilians, and over 251 people were taken hostage, of whom 47 remain in captivity.
Israel believes with confidence that only 20 of these remain alive.
Netiv HaAsara is the closest Israeli community to the Gaza Strip, and its residents have lived with the constant threat of rocket attacks.

It comes as negotiators in Egypt are attempting to form a peace deal that could bring an end to the two-year war.
On Monday, triple-header talks between Israel, the US and Hamas took place in Cairo in a high-stakes bid to bring peace.
President Trump confirmed negotiations lasting a "couple of days" had already begun.
Speaking to the press on the White House lawn, he said: "It's a great deal for Israel, it's a great deal for the entire Arab world, Muslim world, and world... We're very happy about it."

The US's 20-point plan includes the full release of all Israeli hostages, the eventual withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip, and no role for the terrorist group in the future running of Gaza.
On Sunday, the President said: "I am told that the first phase should be completed this week, and I am asking everyone to move fast.
"I will continue to monitor this centuries-old 'conflict'. Time is of the essence, or massive bloodshed will follow - something that nobody wants to see!"
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has counselled caution over whether the agreement will truly be signed.

| REUTERSSo far, Mr Netanyahu has only said it is "possible" that Hamas will agree to release all the hostages.
"If it doesn't happen, what President Trump has said is that he will back Israel completely in acting forcefully against Hamas... Let's hope that we can finish it the easy way and not the hard way."
Sir Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister of the UK, is said to be planning to base himself in the region and will use his contact book to secure funding for the reconstruction of Gaza.
Lord Ricketts, who led the Foreign Office under Sir Tony, said the ex-Prime Minister would be a "good influence" on President Trump's plans for Palestine.
