An enormous seven-foot-tall green goblin is part of a series of figures which have reportedly been stolen from Cheltenham's 'snow queen' trail.
The three missing figures, designed to hold lanterns, have all been stolen from different locations on the evening of 30th December 2021.
Despite being secured with extra strength cable ties and wires, the thieves were still able to take the models.
The green goblin was affixed to the roof of the Hanover Inn, which lead residents to believe someone would have had to climb onto the roof to retrieve it, reports Gloucestershire Live.
St Paul's Road Area Residents Association is appealing for witnesses to help track them down.
The association said: "Ideally we would like them back, but if anyone has CCTV footage of Hanover Street and St Paul's Road where they were taken from, please let us know. They are very conspicuous.
"We are assuming it was someone's drunken idea of a joke and they will wake up this morning and wonder what they are going to do with three 7ft figures."
