A metro station in Paris has been temporarily renamed to Elizabeth II on the day of the late monarch’s funeral.
The metro station alongside the Champs Elysees avenue in the French capital was changed from George V to the former monarch's name on Monday as her state funeral took place in Westminster Abbey.
It comes as French President Emmanuel Macron was one of a whole host of world leaders to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.
Upon arrival at Westminster Abbey, Mr Macron moved slowly through the north lantern towards his seat in the south transept with his wife Brigitte.

He nodded and shared a few words with an usher as the line of dignitaries slowed to a stop as people were shown to their places.
Last week, Mr Macron said he spoke to King Charles III to offer his and his country’s condolences, promising to “strengthen” the relationship between the UK and France by “following the path” of Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr Macron tweeted: “In a phone conversation with His Majesty King Charles III last night, I expressed France’s condolences on the death of his mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I will attend the funeral in London on Monday.
“The ties between France and the United Kingdom are unbreakable. We will continue to strengthen them, following the path laid by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”
Among the other world leaders to attend the service included US President Joe Biden, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Canada’s Justin Trudeau.
