Up to 30,000 homes and businesses have had their water supply completely cut off or are now experiencing low pressure as flash flooding wreaks havoc across the United Kingdom.
Southern Water revealed residents on the Isle of Wight could tomorrow face significant supply problems.
Around 31,000 homes and businesses, which equates to almost half of the English island, could find themselves without water.
As many as 11,000 properties on the southern side of the Isle of Wight will experience no mater or low pressure tomorrow morning.

The number of people impacted was extended later in the day.
Southern Water said: "This [flooding] is making operations at wastewater pumping stations and water supply works much more difficult than normal.
"Our teams are working extremely hard to keep customers' taps running and to minimise risks of wastewater flooding.
"We are also assisting partners with flooding reports in the Southsea area of Hampshire."
A flood signGETTYIsle of Wight MP Bob Seely added: "I have made requests to Southern Water for bottled water stations in Brighstone, Niton and Wroxall.
"They are looking at options and will update on water locations in the coming hours on their website and social media."
Dinosaur Island has experienced exceptional levels of rainfall over the past 24 hours, with more than 80 millimeters recorded at Ryde.
A yellow rain warning is in place to cover the area and parts of nearby parts of Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex from 4am to midday on Thursday, the Met Office has said.

The UK's national weather service added: "Further areas of heavy rain are possible across parts of southern England late on Wednesday night, and during Thursday morning. 20 to 30 mm could fall within a period of 3 to 6 hours, and perhaps 40 mm overall; should such amounts fall in areas affected by recent heavy rain (especially the rain which fell over parts of the warning area on Wednesday morning), then further impacts might be expected."
A number of flood warnings have also been issued amid growing concern about the level of rainfall.
England is facing 37 flood warnings and 81 flood alerts, the Environment Agency has revealed.
Scotland and Wales have been hit with an additional five warnings overall.
