Owner Philip Robinson has since reiterated the shop’s stance, saying that although the review “seemed harmless”, they “have to set boundaries with incidents like this” to protect their staff.
Speaking to the BBC, he said he felt like needed to respond, saying: “I feel like that should be normal.
“I’m sure it was a harmless compliment, but we have to set boundaries, and the staff, they need to come into work feeling safe and know that they’re not going to be subject to any harassment."
He says that he hopes the customer will continue to place orders with them, though says staff safety is always at the forefront.
