Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said she has taken a drugs test in the wake of video footage published earlier this week that showed her partying with friends, and vowed she had never used illegal drugs.
Ms Marin told a news conference: "I have today taken a drug test and the results will come within a week.
"Never in my life have I used drugs."
Ms Marin added that her ability to perform her duties was remained unimpaired during the night in question and that she would have left the party had she been required to work.

Video clips of Ms Marin partying with well-known Finnish influencers and artists began circulating in social media this week.
Ms Marin had faced calls to do a drug test from politicians in her government coalition as well as from the opposition after the videos emerged.
Critics of the 36-year-old Prime Minister have also argued she should be focussing on the cost-of-living crisis hitting the country.
Ms Marin previously defended her actions, stating she had nothing to hide and would still socialise with her friends.
She said: "I haven't used drugs, I haven't used anything other than alcohol.
"I have nothing to conceal or hide, and I haven't done anything illegal."
She added: "These are private videos and are not intended for the public. I'm still going to be friends with my friends."
