Discussing the victory on GB News, Mr Brooks stated: "It's unbelievable, it's fantastic, but my question would be 'why didn't they do it before?'
"This council have been in a long time, why was this not known? How can you not know that they are trading illegally?"
In thanking the council for taking action, Mr Brooks claimed that they "only did it because we took to the streets".
He said: "Look, I thank the council for doing it, that's great, but they did it because we hit the streets. We were not stopping.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"All eyes were on Epping. We were ground zero on the migrant hotel situation, and there were hundreds of people who said we will be here twice a week if it doesn't close. So they had no option but to do this."
Highlighting the concerns of parents in Epping during the hotel protests, Mr Brooks explained: "If the council didn't do this, they would have had to do something else.
"The Home Office would have had to buckle, because at the end of the day, I've spoken to parents whose daughters have been harassed for their Snapchats by migrants, have been harassed and had dirty language towards them on the high road.
"Women have been flashed in the forest, joggers have been violently spoken to. This was a problem, a massive problem, and the locals have had enough."
Mr Brooks told GB News that the migrant crisis is a 'disaster' for Britain

Declaring the migrant crisis a "disaster" for Britain, Mr Brooks concluded that housing asylum seekers in hotels "should not be happening in any town in the UK".
He said: "You can label us far right all you want, we're just worried parents. I live two miles from there. I've got a family member who goes to Saint John's School.
"We were not dropping this. This does not deserve to be happening in any town in the UK. This is a disaster for this country, and something needs to stop."
