Shocking footage has emerged showing a British passenger hurling homophobic abuse at EasyJet staff before being slapped by an airport worker at Manchester Airport.
The video, captured last August, shows a man in a grey jacket and cap shouting derogatory slurs at airline employees at the aircraft entrance.
The passenger was denied boarding for being "disruptive and aggressive", which triggered the chaotic scenes that delayed the EasyJet flight from Manchester to Chania, Greece.
During his tirade, the man threatened staff members, saying: "You're a ripoff artist, you're a f****t - I'll knock your f***ing hat off."

An airport worker in a hi-vis vest then struck the passenger across the face, leaving him momentarily stunned.
The passenger became increasingly aggressive after being told he could not board, threatening a flight attendant with a "f***ing scrap" and calling staff members "k***heads".
When calmly asked to wait, he responded: "You f***ing little k***head, I've paid for the flight."
The man complained bitterly about paying "£300-400" for the flight only to be barred from boarding.

After the slap from the airport worker, he turned his fury on fellow passengers waiting on the bridge.
"Who are you f***ing staring at you f***ing little p***k," he shouted at other travellers.
"Keep staring at me." He repeatedly lunged towards passengers off-camera in an aggressive manner while continuing to hurl abuse and derogatory insults.
EasyJet confirmed that police attended the incident on August 20 last year before the flight's departure.

The customer was not allowed to travel after behaving disruptively during boarding.
An EasyJet spokeswoman said: "easyJet's cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly to ensure that the safety of the flight is not compromised at any time. We will not tolerate disruptive or aggressive behaviour towards our crew or other passengers."
The airline added: "The safety and wellbeing of our passengers, crew and ground agents is always easyJet's priority."
Greater Manchester Police declined to provide further comment on the incident due to it taking place in August 2024.
