A leading Swedish journalist has hit out at Europe's "bomb capital", telling GB News about the city where multiculturalism is "out of control".
Discussing the evolution of Stockholm's crime rate, editor of Riks Media Jacob Hagnell sat down with GB News' Nick Dunning to dissect the statistics.
Despite the city's bid to tackle the growing crime rates, Mr Hagnell told Nick: "We're far away from the golden times of Abba and Ikea, which we were widely known for.
"Now it's gang violence, shootings, bombings. Sweden is a result of multiculturalism going out of control.

"We have had an enormous influx of immigrants for the last two decades.
"It's just a new Government, a conservative Government we received three years ago that started to do something about this.
"But it's an enormous problem. And now we have you have to look closer to see criminality and gang interference in the entire society."
Over the past 20 years, Sweden's immigration rate has ebbed and flowed, making up more than 20 per cent of its population in 2024.

"The situation in Sweden is really bad. The politicians are desperately trying to solve this, but to no avail," Mr Hagnell lamented.
""It's gone as far now that 13-year-olds will be able to get a criminal sentence in prison because the violent gangs are using 13-year-olds to commit assassinations, bombings and such things."
In 2019, Nick cited, Sweden had 257 bomb attacks but this figure has skyrocketed to 30 in January 2025 so far in Stockholm alone.
"You've become the capital of Europe for it. The murder rate has gone up almost 25 per cent!" he exclaimed.

Stockholm has become the 'bomb capital' of Europe

Last year, The Telegraph uncovered how Swedish gangsters recruited teenage to kill and harm rivals with firebombs.
And, in a bid to dodge police surveillance, gang members began using social media platform to offer young teens cash to carry out horrific offences.
Then, in 2024, a slew of teenagers aged 15 or over were charged with violent gang-related offences, as well as murder and manslaughter.
"If you look at the media and a lot of the political class in Sweden, it's a crisis for them," Mr Hagnell explained.
"We have been hurting for a long time that multiculturalism is something positive for Swedish society. Immigration is something beneficial.
"This is going to be become a great place with harmony and everything. And as you stated, we have the facts now.
"Young children and young women are being used to commit bomb attacks. There have been several reports of young women transporting hand grenades in the underground railway system during rush hour."
He continued: "The left leaning Governments of Sweden committed to multiculturalism, mass immigration and people that were speaking out against this said that this will bring an influx of criminality.
"Basically they said 'shut up, racist. We don't care about your opinion.'"
He added the Conservative government, elected in 2022, have "tried to turn everything back into order".
But, nevertheless, he said: "Still, even though with all these extraordinary headlines, we can see now almost on a daily basis, the establishment doesn't really want to put the connection between mass immigration and this out-of-hand criminality we're experiencing right now.
"These are very violent gangs. They are ruthless and they don't hesitate to murder or commit bombings towards the enemies."
