Constance Marten's partner, Mark Gordon, was previously deported to Britain after being jailed for rape at the age of just 14.
The 51-year-old, who was found guilty of gross negligence manslaughter alongside Constance Marten at the Old Bailey yesterday, had previously attacked his neighbour at knifepoint in Miami as a teenager.
Gordon, who was born in the UK but left as a child, was sentenced to 40 years in prison in the US but was deported back to Britain after serving 20 years.
He has always maintained that his rape conviction was unlawful.
Gordon's victim, who cannot be named, told the Mail: "The judge said he was the most dangerous individual he’d ever seen in his time on the bench.
"He is evil. I think he should have been in jail for life. He’s not fit to be around any other human beings."
Gordon moved to New York, living in the Bronx, from Birmingham with his sister and mother at age 11.
His mother, Sylvia Satchell, a Windrush-era nurse who arrived in Britain from Jamaica, was granted a visa to the US.

The victim said: "My dog woke me up barking. I go over to my bedroom door and stepped out and he was just right there in the living room. He was holding a knife and a big pair of hedge clippers. I started to yell and he said, 'Don’t scream or I’ll kill your kids'."
Gordon, who was dressed all in black, wearing gloves and with a black stocking over his face.
She explained: "He forced me to perform oral sex on him and there was penetrative sex.
"He was mostly ordering me around. I just kept trying to talk to him... reason with him and try to find out if there was anything else I could give him to get him to leave."

Gordon threatened the mother with a knife and held her against her will for four and a half hours.
She added: "I offered him my car not realising he was so young. I was thinking I have to find a way to live because my kids were in that other room. It was survival."
"At one point I was able to get between him and the knife and I picked it up and put it behind my back. I said, 'It’s getting late and my kids know something is going on. Let me put them in their room and you leave'.
"He finally gave in. I went out of the room. As soon as I did, I grabbed each of my kids and ran out of the front door screaming."

|Baby Victoria was discovered in an allotment shed wrapped in a pink sheet and hidden beneath dirt and rubbish in a Lidl bag
Gordon's recent conviction came following the death of their child, Victoria, who died in a tent in the South Downs in January 2023.
He had been a prime suspect in the high-profile police search for the missing baby, which culminated in the couple’s arrests in Brighton in February 2023 after 54 days on the run across England.
More than 1,000 Metropolitan Police officers were involved in the search before she was discovered in an allotment shed wrapped in a pink sheet and hidden beneath dirt and rubbish in a Lidl bag.
Victoria’s remains were too badly decomposed to establish the cause of death, but the prosecution said she likely died from hypothermia in the cold and damp conditions or was smothered.
