Jeremy Hunt delivered his final spring budget before the General Election yesterday

Britons have been left livid after the Budget was unveiled yesterday, and have claimed that the Conservative Party needs to be "out of power."

The Government released its final Budget before the general election yesterday, with freezes on Fuel and Alcohol Duty until early 2025 and National Insurance contributions slashed by 2p.

It is estimated that the 2p cut to national insurance would be worth about £450 a year for someone on a £35,000 full-time salary.

However, people in the UK feel that this is "not enough" and it won't save the political party at the next election.

Jeremy HuntJeremy Hunt outlined his plans for the economy in his Spring BudgetPA

Speaking to GB News, one person in Ramsgate, Kent said: "How are you going to help us? Rishi Sunak, you're a very rich man.

"You've got not the worries I've got. People are starving out here. We've got more food banks now than ever before. What are you going to do about it?

"We've got people sleeping on the streets more than ever before. What are you going to do about it? We've got migrants coming over costing us 8.4 million a day.

"You've done nothing. You've broken all your promises, you've done nothing. You say the cost of living is down. The cost of living is not down. People are spending over £100 on a small trolley of groceries.

"You're out of order. You've got to be out of power. Give someone else a chance. That's what I can say about it because people are fed up."

A different person said: "It's not enough. We need to see results on the NHS, seeing a GP, things that really matter, not beer duty."

A third said: "I don't make a lot of the budget, to be fair. I think it's a scummy attempt by the Conservative Party to try and regain any bit of ground that they can get.

"I think they know they're in a difficult situation and it's not going to pan out well for them."

"There's nothing for the ordinary working man. Conservatives and Labour they're both the same. There's no difference. We need a change."

Another welcomed it and said that it "will help me"

However, a different person welcomed the budget. She said: "I think this will help me a lot and I'll be really happy if they get some help for everyone.

"Especially now I need the help for my teeth and other bills in the House, this financing will help for everyone and help me. I'll really be happy."

A final person said: "I think we need more really. I'm a big believer in socialism and I'd quite like to see some of that coming down the line rather than just election-winning promises.

"I think what we really need is, is the investment in our infrastructure, particularly in things like the National Health Service. I've heard that there is money going to that from the budget today, but I think we probably need even more."
