A British humanitarian volunteer who lost his arm and leg in a Russian drone strike said the fight in Ukraine is a "fight for the freedom of Europe.
Eddy Scott, 28, from Dorset, was injured on January 30 whilst evacuating civilians in Pokrovsk, eastern Ukraine.
The humanitarian worker told GB News he was driving in a "clearly marked" civilian evacuation van that was "deliberately targeted" by an FPV drone.
Scott began volunteering in Ukraine after witnessing the 2022 Russian invasion, saying he "felt like he had to do something."
Now, as President Donald Trump has given Moscow 50 days to reach a ceasefire or face sanctions, Scott has painted a stark warning for the West.

"Based on the history, I'm tentative that it's going to, you know, come to fruition, but it's, in my opinion, it's positive," Scott told GB News.
Scott welcomed signs of Western unity, stating: "It shows that the West is starting to come together and certainly starting to understand that this needs to be stopped.
"You have to understand, it's not just a fight for Ukraine. It is a fight for the freedom of Europe."
He emphasised the importance of backing for Ukraine's defence efforts. "Putin needs to be afraid of Ukraine and the West," Scott said, adding that Trump's announcement could "change the course of the war."

Scott also made a blunt accusation that Russia uses "terror tactics" to target civilian volunteers.
"I'm a civilian. I've never been a soldier," he emphasised, explaining that his vehicle was "clearly marked as a civilian evacuation vehicle" with white high-vis vests and no weapons or camouflage.
He described the attack as deliberate, noting the drone operators "knew what they were hitting" and specifically targeted the driver's side. "This is the way Russia fights. It's terror tactics," Scott said.
He revealed that drone pilots "hunt civilians as training" in some cities, calling it "barbaric." Scott stated that "every team I know has been targeted at some point" and multiple humanitarian workers have been killed.
"By targeting humanitarian workers, we're unable to do the work that is needed," he explained, describing the situation as "absolutely horrendous."

|President Donald Trump has given the Kremlin 50 days before imposing new sanctions on Russia
President Trump announced on Monday that Ukraine would receive fresh weaponry, including Patriot missiles already en route from Germany. He set a 50-day deadline for Russia to agree to a ceasefire or face sanctions.
However, Trump clarified his position on Tuesday, stating that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "shouldn't target Moscow" when asked about potential strikes on the Russian capital.
"I am on nobody's side," Trump told reporters at the White House, before adding he was on "humanity's side" because "I want to stop the killing."
The President defended his deadline, warning: "At the end of the 50 days if we don't have a deal, it's going to be too bad." He suggested a deal might be reached sooner than the deadline.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin said that the supply of weapons to Ukraine by the West is high on agenda and that the Kremlin is monitoring this issue thoroughly, Russian news agencies reported on Wednesday.
The supplies of weapons to Ukraine is a business and some European countries will pay for the weapons, spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
A new phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump is not planned, but it could be organised quickly, he added.
