The flight attendant did not realise he was naked

A British Airways flight attendant was found completely naked and high on drugs in an onboard toilet during a flight from California to London, a court has heard.

Haden Pentecost was described as babbling, sweating and agitated.

The 41-year-old had to be stood down by the flight's manager when he failed to help with any pre-flight safety checks.

Pentecost initially complained of stomach cramps, saying he needed to go change his clothes.

He locked himself in one of the plane's bathrooms, but when it was opened by a colleague, he was found naked and unaware that he had no clothes on.

The flight attendant had to dress him and move Pentecost into a free seat, the court heard.

Pentecost appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday, where he pleaded guilty to performing an aviation function while impaired by drugs.

The flight attendant was spoken to by the captain before a health professional was called for, magistrates were told.

Pentecost's pupils were dilated and he had a high heart rate, which had to be checked every 20 minutes before arriving into Heathrow.

He was met by paramedics upon arrival and taken to hospital.

A blood test later revealed Pentecost had methamphetamine and amphetamine in his system, the court heard.

He has since been sacked by British Airways, the court heard.

Pentecost of Basingstoke has been granted bail to be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court at a later date.

GB News has approached British Airways for comment.

Stephen Wheeldon, 49, forked out more than £2,400 to take his wife and two daughters on an EasyJet holiday for seven nights at the Basilica Holiday Resort in Paphos, Cyprus.

The father-of-two was left disgusted after discovering hordes of cockroaches in three separate apartments during their trip, claiming that some of the insects measured "a couple of inches long".

After arriving in Cyprus on July 24, Mr Wheeldon said the family had been given the "wrong room" for their self-catering holiday.

The family had booked a two-bedroom apartment through easyJet - but were instead given a single room with just two single beds.

After the hotel provided them with an additional room for their 13-year-old daughter, Mr Wheeldon discovered that the new accommodation had cockroaches crawling across the floor of the shower.
