Lord Wolfson said he wasn't seeing the Brexit deal he 'wanted' when it comes to immigration

The boss of clothing firm Next has urged the Government to let more foreign workers into the UK.
Lord Wolfson said the country must take a different approach when it comes to “economically productive migration” with people “queuing up to come to this country” to work.
While he also suggested that companies should pay a tax to employ foreign workers, so that bosses are encouraged to recruit from the UK before looking overseas.
Lord Wolfson said: “We have got people queuing up to come to this country to pick crops that are rotting in fields, to work in warehouses that otherwise wouldn’t be operable.

“And we’re not letting them in.
“And we have to take a different approach to economically productive migration,” he told the BBC.
While the Next boss, who was a vocal supporter of Brexit, said it wasn’t the trade deal he “wanted” in regards to immigration.
On Brexit, Lord Wolfson added: "I think in respect of immigration, it's definitely not the Brexit that I wanted, or indeed, many of people who voted Brexit wanted.
"And we have to remember, you know, we're all stuck in this Brexit argument, we have to remember that what post-Brexit Britain looks like, is not the preserve of those people that voted Brexit, it's for all of us to decide."
