The Prime Minister faced a string of resignations following the ongoing row over Chris Pincher's conduct

Broadcaster Angela Epstein has called for the public to vote on Boris Johnson's future, stating the Conservatives would need a leader who can deliver a majority at the next election, just as Boris did at the last election.

Addressing the mounting number of resignations submitted to the Prime Minister, following the Chris Pincher scandal, Ms Epstein said: "Let the public decide, because it's the public who put him there in the first place."

The broadcaster highlighted the Prime Minister's overwhelming mandate at the last election stating: "He had the mandate of the people to lead the government, not the mandate of politicians, it's not politicians who vote him into office, it's the people."

Condemning the resignations from the Health Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer, Ms Epstein said: "They're mates, they're both Remainers, they've clearly colluded if you think about their timings of their resignations".

Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid both confirmed they would be leaving their Cabinet positions earlier today, following the Chris Pincher scandal.

Mr Pincher quit as deputy chief whip last week following claims that he groped two men at a private members’ club, but Mr Johnson was informed about allegations about him as far back as 2019.

The Prime Minister acknowledged he should have sacked Mr Pincher when he was told about the claims against him when he was a Foreign Office minister in 2019, but instead Mr Johnson went on to appoint him to other government roles.

The Former Health Secretary outlined in his letter to the Prime Minister, how the British people “rightly expect integrity from their Government”.

Sajid Javid wrote: “The tone you set as leader, and the values you represent, reflect on your colleagues, your party and ultimately the country.

“Conservatives at their best are seen as hard-headed decision makers, guided by strong values. We may not have always been popular, but we have been competent in acting in the national interest.

“Sadly, in the current circumstances, the public are concluding that we are now neither.”

When questioned on the Prime Minister's faith, by GB News Presenter Dan Wootton, Media Personality, Christine Hamilton likened Mr Johnson to "houdini" claiming "he's got out of scrapes like this before".

Retaliating to the high hopes of Angela Epstein, regarding her faith in the Prime Minister, Ms Hamilton said Mr Johnson had "no moral compass".

Ms Hamilton condemned Mr Johnson saying: "I want a political who i can look up to and respect, and personally I haven't had that since Margaret Thatcher".
