Several people have been injured in a suspected "noxious substance" attack during an alleged burglary.
A man has been arrested after officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Sturges Road, near Bognor Regis railway station.
West Sussex Police said it is believed a noxious substance may have been thrown during the course of the incident on Sunday, July 14.
A 32-year-old man, local to where the incident took place has been arrested, reports The Sun.

It is unclear what exactly the substance was. Officers closed a section of the road from around 4pm on Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to a disturbance at an address on the road after reports a substance had been thrown. The ambulance service treated people at the scene.

Witnesses or anyone with information such as CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage, are asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 780 of 14/07.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "Police and emergency services responded to a report of a disturbance at an address in Sturges Road, Bognor, reported shortly after 4pm on Sunday, July 14.
"It is believed a suspected noxious substance may have been thrown during the course of the incident. One man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody at this stage.
"The ambulance service treated people for minor injuries, believed to be in connection with the suspected noxious substance.
"Officers are investigating, and there will be an increased police presence to provide reassurance."
