Ben demanded that the Political commentator 'give some examples'

Williams hit back, saying: "I hear people on this channel all the time saying Keir Starmer is the most evil, oppressive man. Well, I feel the same about Rupert Lowe.
"I think he’s an awful man. He’s saying, ‘We’re going to bring Lucy Connolly into Parliament as the special guest at our debate.’ She’s a convicted criminal. The right are supposed to be the standard-bearers of the rule of law in this country."
Ben pressed him: "Can you just clarify, with Rupert Lowe, why you find him beneath contempt? Can you give an example? I’m very intrigued."
Williams replied: "I think mass deportations is a disgusting policy."
Ben shot back: "He’s talking about illegal immigrants?"
Williams argued: "He’s not actually clarified what he means by that."

Ben fired back: "He just means illegal migrants, people who entered illegally. Don’t you think people should be deported when they break into the country illegally?"
Williams, stuttering, replied: "Well, I think it’s more complicated than that..."
Ben continued: "You think a Member of Parliament who says, and by the way, this is policy in countries all over the world, like the United States and Australia, ‘If you break into the country illegally, you are an illegal migrant, you will be deported’.

Ben hit back: "All the leading democracies of the West have that same policy. The United States of America is a leading democracy of the West, but they have all sorts of policies that are disgraceful."
Pressing further, Ben demanded: "Any other examples of Rupert Lowe being beneath contempt? Any others?"
A floundering Williams replied: "I don’t need to justify that."
Ben shot back: "You do. You come on a national TV channel and say somebody is beneath contempt? Yes, you need to give more than one example. And your first example was very flimsy."
But Williams failed to provide any further evidence, insisting only: "That’s my view."
Ben concluded: "Okay. You’re stumped."
