Topshop is set to return to the high street and shoppers won’t have long to wait.
From February 2026, the brand will be back in 32 John Lewis stores across the country, with Topman also making a comeback in six locations.
Both brands will also be available to buy online at johnlewis.com, marking a major revival for two of Britain’s best-known fashion names.
Topshop and Topman vanished from the high street after Arcadia collapsed in 2021 and the labels were bought by online retailer Asos.
The comeback began last month with a short in-store residency at Liberty London, but the John Lewis deal means the brands are now returning to high streets nationwide.
The collaboration between the two retailers will see Topshop merchandise available across John Lewis's nationwide network, whilst sister brand Topman will launch in six selected locations.
John Lewis has confirmed that Topman will be stocked in stores at Bluewater, Cambridge, Cardiff, Leeds, Reading and Newcastle.
The department store chain is committing substantial resources to its fashion division as part of a wider £800million investment programme across its estate.
The transformation includes upgrades to beauty departments, retail space renovations and new dining facilities.

The Topshop products will be stocked across John Lewis locations spanning the entire United Kingdom
| PAPeter Ruis, managing director of John Lewis, expressed confidence that the partnership would generate significant consumer interest.
He said: "We think this is something people will queue outside the door for," he stated, highlighting the department store's multi-generational appeal whilst acknowledging the move would attract additional younger shoppers.
The executive emphasised that the exclusive arrangement would draw "family day out" shoppers and customers "across all age groups" who might not typically visit John Lewis stores.
Michelle Wilson, Topshop's managing director, echoed this optimism, noting: "The conversations we've had with customers around the relaunch is that people are desperate to see Topshop back in stores, so we do think we will bring customers into John Lewis that might not have come in before."
