Nationwide Building Society has relaunched a popular account which gives students the chance to benefit from up to £280 in incentives for the upcoming academic year.
The popular account package includes £100 cashback and £120 worth of Just Eat vouchers spread over 12 months.
Nationwide’s FlexStudent account is back by popular demand, after attracting over a quarter of all new student current account customers last year.
Students can boost their rewards by referring friends to the account, earning an additional £20 in Just Eat vouchers for each successful referral, up to a maximum of two.
Those who are referred by a friend receive an extra £20 themselves, bringing the total potential value to £280.
The account requires applicants to deposit at least £500 by December 12, 2025 to qualify for the incentives. The offer is available for a limited period and may be withdrawn at any time.
The £100 cashback arrives within 14 calendar days of students crediting their account with the required £500

The Just Eat vouchers are distributed monthly, with eligible account holders receiving a registration code to access £10 voucher codes each month for their first year.
To qualify, applicants must be aged 18 or over and have lived in the UK for at least three years. They need an unconditional offer or conditional place on a full-time UCAS course lasting at least two years.
Students must be starting their course within five months or have been enrolled for less than 12 months. They cannot hold another student bank account, though existing accounts can be transferred to Nationwide.
The building society requires students to pay in at least £500 per term throughout their studies to maintain the account benefits.
Beyond the headline incentives, the FlexStudent account provides an interest-free and fee-free arranged overdraft facility. First-year students can access up to £1,000, increasing to £2,000 in their second year and £3,000 by their third year, subject to status.
Account holders benefit from commission-free purchases and cash withdrawals abroad, eliminating fees when using their card overseas. This feature provides peace of mind for students travelling during holidays or study breaks.
The account also offers exclusive access to FlexGraduate, a post-university current account designed to help students transition after completing their studies.
