GB News’ Ellie Costello claimed the UK would forgive Harry but not Meghan
Meghan Markle may not be forgiven if she and Prince Harry should return to the UK, it has been claimed.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry quit their roles as senior royals in January 2020 and after a short stint in Canada, they moved to the US. They have since done various interviews slamming the Royal Family and the UK.
However, it seems that they may want to return at some point as Meghan Markle has reportedly hired a UK-based PR executive to help with her image in Britain.
Speaking on GB News Ellie Costello said: “I think people definitely forgive Harry. I think there's a lot of love and affection there for Harry, especially after what happened to his mother... People have a soft spot in their hearts for Harry but I don't think people would forgive her.”
In an exclusive poll for GB News membership readers, an overwhelming majority (95 per cent) of the 982 voters thought Meghan could NOT be forgiven by Britain, while just four per cent thought we should bury the hatchet. Just one per cent said they did not know.

However, Anne Diamond suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “would be forgiven” if they apologised and “did the right thing”.
Presenting on GB News Breakfast, Anne said: “I think we'd forgive her if she if they came back and did the right things.
“If they brought the children, did a bit of waving and there's a chance that the Invictus Games is going to come back to Britain.
“So we're going to see a bit more of Prince Harry with him in the UK doing that. I think we'd forgive them if they just did the right things.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:“They have to say sorry though and I don't think they're going to do that.”
According to one senior PR executive, Meghan and Harry could be extended an olive branch by the Royal Family as they could step in to fill a vacuum in the currently short-staffed Firm.
They told the Telegraph: “The Royal Family is looking short-staffed and quite elderly.
“The Sussexes have a popularity problem and can see there is an opportunity to step in to fill a vacuum over here with their own work.
“There is also growing noise stateside that Harry would like to carry out duties on behalf of his father again.”
