Vinyl wrapping can last for years

“We're seeing people achieve results that look identical to brand-new installations, but at a fraction of the price.”
Vinyl wrapping works by applying an adhesive-backed film onto existing kitchen surfacing, available to slap onto cupboards, worktops and drawers.
Ms King added: “The durability of vinyl wrapping surprises most people. When applied correctly and maintained properly, wrapped surfaces can last seven to ten years, sometimes longer.
“That's comparable to the lifespan of most painted finishes, but at a fraction of the cost.“

Meanwhile, the maintenance is “straightforward”, according to the kitchen guru.
A simple wipe-over with a damp cloth and mild detergent will do the trick.
It is best to dodge harsher cleaners or scouring pads, as they can end up scratching the material.
Additionally, the materials can be heat-resistant, often withstanding temperatures as high as 80 degrees. However, hot pans should be left to cool down on the hob.
“With proper care, your wrapped kitchen will look fresh and vibrant for years,” she said.

“We regularly hear from customers who were quoted £8,000 for new kitchen units,” says Caitlin.
“They've spent £800-£1000 with us instead and achieved the exact look they wanted.
“The money they've saved has gone towards holidays, home improvements elsewhere, or simply stayed in their savings account.”
