Mablethorpe has been crowned England’s best coastal destination for living and relocation, according to a new study.
The seaside town in East Lindsey topped the rankings based on several key factors including affordability, new housing developments, resident happiness and beach quality.
The study evaluated seaside towns across the country and assessed the number of new dwellings built over the past five years.
The residents' life satisfaction was also assessed based on the Office for National Statistics data, property affordability and beach standards.

Mablethorpe emerged as the clear winner, outshining popular coastal destinations and offering an appealing blend of community spirit and seaside charm.

A breakdown of the analysis shows that Mablethorpe scored 158 points overall, ranking 6th for housing affordability.
Data shows properties sold for an average of £180,333 on average over the last year.
According to the East Lindsey District Council, visitors can also enjoy miles of wonderful beaches all year round.
