A 41-year-old woman spoke exclusively to GB News about how she maintains a youthful appearance

There are plenty of options out there for women who want to look younger than their age. A revamped skin care routine, a modern haircut and a healthy diet can all work wonders.

For 41-year-old model Alana Panton - who often gets mistaken for someone 10 years her junior - it's all about green juice, following a healthy diet, the right workout regime and natural skin care.

Alana spoke exclusively to GB News about how she defies ageing.

She said: "I often get told I look 10 years younger than I am. I am 41 and people often tell me I look in my late 20s or early 30s. I often get chatted up by 18-year-olds when I go to festivals - I think it helps that I am young at heart too."

Alana shared that she maintains a youthful appearance by detoxing a couple of times a year and drinking green juice. She also drinks green juice weekly.

Green juice is rich in nutrients, promotes digestive health and lowers inflammation.

It can also be hydrating, especially if it's filled with water-rich vegetables like cucumber and celery, and hydrated skin is healthy, glowing skin.

Alana also enjoys working out and exercises at least four or five times per week.

She keeps herself motivated by switching up her exercise regimes. She said: "Right now I do hot yoga, but I change it up. I usually do hot yoga for the winter months and switch to running and weights during the summer."

Alana uses natural skin care products to ensure a healthy, hydrated, glowing complexion. She is diligent with morning and nightly cleansing and moisturising.

While she does enjoy glamming up, the 41-year-old also enjoys makeup-free days to help her skin breathe.

She continued: "I live quite a healthy lifestyle - I drink occasionally and do not smoke.

"I try to drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day and eat a mainly plant-based diet, only occasionally having meat or fish."

According to a wellness coach, women can also "slow their ageing by nearly 10 years" with a key habit.

For those looking for a quicker fix, one 10-minute makeup routine can also take 10 years off your face.
