The festive range lands in stores from September 18

Aldi is set to transform British kitchens into Bavarian beer halls with its upcoming Oktoberfest collection, landing in stores next week.

From spiced marinades to Currywurst crisps, the German-inspired range is set to delight the masses - even from across the Channel.

Leading the charge are four new marinades priced at just 59p each, promising to bring authentic Munich flavours to home cooking at remarkably affordable prices.

The discount retailer's seasonal offering extends well beyond condiments. Traditional German delicacies, including spätzle pasta and tangy sauerkraut, will stock shelves alongside the marinades.

Further additions launching on September 25 include an innovative twist on a British favourite: Bratwurst-style pigs in blankets, complete with curry ketchup.

The quartet of marinades each delivers distinct regional tastes. Beer Flavour combines sweet stout notes with peppery and umami undertones, whilst Schnitzel recreates the comfort of fried breadcrumbs enhanced by gentle spices and pepper.

Currywurst Style blends fragrant curry with cumin, fenugreek, ginger, onion and garlic. The Bavarian Style option marries bold onion and paprika with aromatic seasonings.

These versatile condiments suit brushing onto meats or plant-based options before grilling, roasting or frying.

They equally enhance stews or function as dipping accompaniments for chips and pretzels, ensuring authentic German flavours permeate every dish.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Traditional German fare joins the celebration with German-style Spätzle at £1.49 for 500g, absorbing sauces beautifully and pairing excellently with schnitzel or goulash for a delightful, warming dinner.

Baxters brings authentic accompaniments to the supermarket aisles, including German Style Pickles for £1.99, chosen for optimal size and harvested at peak crispness before being pickled with vinegar, red pepper, mustard and dill.

Their Sauerkraut, priced at £1.89, also delivers characteristic crispness and sharp flavour to shoppers, while Giant Pretzels and Pretzel Sticks, both 99p, provide golden, salt-topped crunch.

Specially Selected Hand Cooked Crisps at £1.15 come with German Beer and Currywurst flavours - perfect partners for cold lager.

The Pretzel Crumb Pork Schnitzel with Honey & Mustard Sauce comes with a price tag of £3.49 and features twin pork escalopes coated in pretzel crumbs.

Balancing both sweet and savoury, a sachet of smoky honey-mustard sauce accompanies the protein, adding a pang of pizazz to the plate.

And, finally, Brewdog's fan-favourite Oktoberfest Lager returns at £13.99 for twelve 330ml bottles, offering citrus and herbal characteristics, alongside additional pilsner selections to complement the new range.
