As tennis enthusiasts descend upon the nation's capital for the Championships, Aldi has unveiled a decidedly British addition to summer refreshments.
The supermarket's new Ballycastle Strawberries & Cream Country Cream liqueur arrives in store at £7.49 for a 70cl bottle, timed perfectly as Britons enjoy a tantalising two-weeks-worth of tennis.
The drink is launched just after the supermarket launched its trio of "indulgent" new Ballycastle Country Creams liqueurs this summer, each priced at £7.49.
The strawberry cream-based spirit captures the quintessentially British pairing that has graced Wimbledon for generations as flocks of Britons enjoy the summer sport.

Blending strawberry flavours with rich cream, the beverage offers tennis fans and summer entertainers alike a ready-made taste of tradition.
The launch comes as British shoppers increasingly are on the look-out for premium spirits as a special treat for a national celebration, while offering store-bought convenience at the same time.
Meanwhile, social media platforms have erupted with enthusiasm for the new offering. "Ooof this looks amazing," one shopper commented online.
Another advocate remarked: "Oh, now you just had to make something like this, like Irish cream wasn't already irresistible."

As a result, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with one customer declaring: "I've just got a bottle and this looks amazing!"
The liqueur promises what Aldi describes as "a guaranteed match made in heaven" through its balance of "succulent strawberry flavours and decadent cream".
The timing seems to be masterfully timed to capitalise on the nation's tennis fever, positioning the drink as this summer's must-have accompaniment to Centre Court action.
The discount-savvy supermarket has also brought back its Premium Agave Strawberry Flavour Cream Liqueur at £6.99, reduced from £8.99.

The tequila-based alternative combines strawberry cream flavours with agave spirits, offering what Aldi calls a "smooth, summery and totally TikTok-worthy" option.
"I wish they would stop bringing out so many new flavours because I have to try them all," one fan admitted on social media as another shopper added: "I'll pick a bottle of that strawberry and cream one up, in my house it probably won't last very long."
The launch comes as Aldi reports a significant 36 per cent surge in sales of its Ballycastle creamy creations in 2025, reflecting shoppers' growing appetite for decadent tipples.
