The Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé will be available at the reduced price of £4.99 for one week only

Aldi has announced the return of its Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé, which went "viral" last year.

And to make things even more exciting, the supermarket has revealed it will slash the price to under £5 for the bank holiday. However, customers can only buy a maximum of two bottles each.

For those planning on enjoying a tasty tipple over the bank holiday weekend, the Rosé will be available for £4.99 from Monday, April 29 to Sunday, May 5.

Aldi said: "Shoppers should run not walk to their closest Aldi as the supermarket has announced it will be slashing the price of its viral Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé, 75cl to under a fiver from April 29 until May 5, just in time for the bank holiday.

"Returning to shelves as part of the supermarket’s Spring Summer range, the popular rosé offers unbeatable value, available for just £4.99 from £6.99, offering a 28 per cent saving."

"This rosé is an elegant, subtle wine with aromas of strawberry and watermelon, and flavours of tangy raspberry and red cherry.

"Dry and fresh, this is an easy-drinking wine that is perfect for long evenings and is sure to wow guests at any bank holiday celebration."

The supermarket shared that the beverage was "hailed" by wine experts when it hit shelves last year, and that it subsequently became a "sell-out" product.

However, customers were hit with a strict rule. The drink will be "limited to two bottles per customer".

The Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé isn't the only wine set to delight tastebuds over the bank holiday weekend.

The supermarket added: "Aldi is also reducing the price of three other wines, including its best-selling Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC, 75cl from £5.75 from £4.49."

The Pierre Jaurant French Merlot, 75cl was £5.99 and will now be £3.49. The Freeman’s Bay New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, 75cl was £6.79 and has been slashed to £4.99.

The Freeman’s Bay New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, 75cl will also be limited to two bottles per customer.

Aldi’s May bank holiday wine promotions are available in stores and via Click & Collect from April 29 until May 5, while stocks last.

Aldi is constantly bringing out new product in the form of Specialbuys, which are the "unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi - from DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping and everything in between".

They come out every Thursday and Sunday, but "once they're gone, they're gone".

The supermarket recently launched "stylish and stunning" garden products but warned Britons they must act fast.

Britons can also get their hands on a "sell-out" product that's perfect for families, but again, they've got to be quick.
