According to one slimmer, you can still enjoy delicious goodies in your diet, as long as you're willing to put in the work at the gym

Although a combination of healthy lifestyle choices is the most foolproof weight loss method, it can be tricky to revamp your food choices, exercise regimen, and daily habits all at once.

As a result, many individuals opt to prioritise certain factors, such as diet over exercise or vice versa, just like TikToker and fitness enthusiast Annie Beale.

Annie, who goes by @anniebea1e on the platform, shared her personal "self-improvement journey" with followers.

This included an "easy, full-body 20-minute workout" she used to achieve her "dream body".

Annie shared the 20-minute workout she used to achieve her 'dream body'

"Instead of obsessing over the number on the scale, I’m focusing on being happier, healthier, and moving my body more," she told followers.

Although she doesn't enjoy heavy weights, she knew that only doing cardio in the gym wouldn't result in her desired goals, adding: "I’m a high rep, low weight kind of girl."

"This is the longest I’ve managed to consistently go to the gym. The only thing letting me down at this point is my lack of self-control when it comes to what I'm eating," the fitness fanatic shared.

So, instead of prioritising her diet, the guru focuses her attention on how she can counteract the calories and tone up her body with a regular workout.

One user asked if she had also been eating differently, to which she responded: "I've been trying to! I am a sucker for a sweet treat, so exercise is more of a priority for me than a diet at the moment."

"Though it does take some motivation, exercise is not a punishment or a chore; I actually really enjoy doing it,” Annie added.

"I try really hard not to take for granted the fact that I’m capable and able to do exercise."

While this strategy worked for Annie, weight loss results vary from person to person. Before making any radical changes to your lifestyle, it's best to consult a qualified professional to ensure you're choosing a suitable method for you.
