The fitness fan achieved her dream physique with three workouts that engage the deeper abdominal muscles

No shortcuts exist for flattening the stomach, but with dedication to both nutritional choices and specific training, many achieve their desired results.

A gym enthusiast who goes by @ggeggleton on TikTok claims deep core movements have been some of the most effective in reshaping her body.

“The things that I would give to go back in time and start training with deep core exercises earlier," the content creator declared in a clip.

“The way it has transformed my waist, I cannot explain to you guys how different my body and my body shape look.

The fitness fan says you can change the way your body looks with deep core exercises

"I always thought I’d be shaped like a fridge - well, no. You can change the way your body looks with deep core exercises.

"There are three that I have been doing consistently for a few months," she went on, noting that knee drives, in and outs, and dead bugs stand out for their ability to transform the waist.

Together, the exercises target different aspects of core fitness, from metabolic calorie expenditure to muscular compression and stabilisation.

Knee drives, hailed as one of the top waist-slimming exercises to take inches off the core, are particularly helpful with calorie-burning and core strength.

The dynamic workout requires lying on the back with the knees bent and feet flat on the floor, and hips off the ground.

Bring one knee towards the chest and lower back to the ground, then repeat the motion with the opposite leg.

This primarily targets the hip flexors, quads and glutes, and engages the core muscles, which ultimately improves stability.

The subsequent in and out exercise, otherwise known as stomach vacuums, targets the abdominal muscles that wrap around the waist like a corset.

In this exercise, the body leans back slightly with both feet on the floor and the knees bent at about 90 degrees. The core is engaged and the spine remains neutral.

Pull in the knees towards the chest while keeping the upper body stable, then extend the legs out without letting the heels touch the floor.

This helps improve core strength and posture while improving the appearance of a toned midsection.

The dead bug, which can also be performed without equipment, is equally helpful in strengthening the core muscles.

The exercises target different aspects of core fitness

It involves lying on the back, with arms extended towards the ceiling and knees bent at 90 degrees.

Slowly lower one arm and the opposite leg towards the floor, while maintaining a braced core, then return to the starting position.

The three workouts are just a few of many that can pave the way to a toned physique.

Recently, another fitness fan shared the two movements that targeted her deep core muscles, explaining that fat reduction is a crucial element in achieving abdominal muscles.
