An expert explained the best way to keep these floors clean - and it doesn't need to cost a lot.

They explained how to make an effective homemade cleaning solution using only water and vinegar.

"In terms of cleaning wood floors, white vinegar is considered to be the best homemade solution.

Vinegar is known for its cleaning properties and can be used across the home, from in the bathroom to on windows.
White vinegar is something many will already have at home, but if not it is available in Tesco from just 29p.
The cleaning experts detailed how to use this to make a cleaning product.

The solution can then be used as a cheap floor cleaning product in your home.
