Tesla is set to introduce a new electric car "soon" as it looks to fight back against waning interest in its vehicles in China and across the world.
The Tesla Model YL will be launched on the Chinese market in the near future, according to a confirmation post on the social media site Weibo.
Tesla is promising the six-seat SUV to have a brand new exterior, "luxurious" interior and impressive battery range.

The Model YL will start from 339,000 yuan or £34,904, and will be complete with an impressive CLTC range of 466 miles.

A launch video posted to Tesla's Weibo shows the sleek six-seater SUV being tested off-road, travelling through mountains, as well as showing off the suitable space for families.
In July, Tesla saw sales of its electric vehicles fall in China by 8.4 per cent compared to the previous year.
It comes as the Elon Musk-led brand faces intense pressure from established Chinese brands slashing prices and new manufacturers offering superior features.

Deliveries of the Chinese-made Tesla Model Y and Model Y fell 5.2 per cent compared to June, according to the China Passenger Car Association.
The delivery figures, which include exports to Europe and other markets, reached 67,886 vehicles.
In comparison, Chinese giant BYD delivered a staggering 341,000 cars, although Tesla has more foreign manufacturing bases, including in Berlin, Germany and across the United States.
BYD is looking to continue its dominance in China and accelerate rollout plans across the globe with its affordable range of electric vehicles, in addition to the European launch of its premium Denza brand.

The Xiaomi YU7 will be available for around £26,000
| REUTERSAnother new competitor is Xiaomi, which is well-known for manufacturing smartphones and has positioned itself as a major threat.
It received more than 200,000 pre-orders for its new YU7 electric SUV in just three minutes of its launch, and 289,000 pre-orders within an hour.
The staggering sales totals come just over a year after Xiaomi entered the electric vehicle market with its SU7 sedan.
The YU7 is priced at an affordable 253,000 yuan (£26,047) and provides a top speed of 157mph and an impressive 518 miles of range.
Following the announcement of the YU7, Tesla cut its prices in China, while other brands offered discounts and other perks to retain interest.
To address the popularity of BYD and other Chinese brands, Tesla is preparing to launch a six-seat version of its Model Y in China.
Reuters reported that a longer-range, rear-wheel drive Model 3 will also be introduced to Chinese customers.
Tesla recently started deliveries of the new Model Y in the UK and across Europe, with improved range, a new Cybrtruck-inspired exterior and upgraded interior features.
