Drivers could make even larger savings on new electric vehicles this month as some of the most popular manufacturers in the world continue to slash prices.
Skoda has officially launched the Elroq SE L 85 electric vehicle with a staggering driving range of 355 miles from its 82kWh battery.
The Elroq, as well as the popular Enyaq model, are eligible for the Government's £650million Electric Car Grant, allowing drivers to make huge savings.
Both models are eligible for the Band 2 saving worth £1,500, bringing the Elroq down to just £30,210.

Skoda and Toyota are offering 'double discounts' on their popular electric vehicle models

The new Elroq SE L 85 82kWh 210kW has a recommended retail price of £36,385, but with the added Labour incentive falls to £35,560.
Skoda meets environmental criteria relating to the environmental impact of its manufacturing process, which is outlined in the Government's "Science Based Targets".
Unlike previous Government grants, drivers do not need to apply for the incentive, removing the need for customers to complete any paperwork when buying their cars.

Toyota has also introduced huge savings for motorists on its popular bZ4X electric vehicle, just days after it was added to the list of eligible ECG models.
In the latest batch of eligible models, the Government announced that seven new models, including the bZ4X and Proace City Verso, would see £1,500 cut from the list price.

The popular Toyota bZ4X is part of the £1,500 Electric Car Grant | TOYOTAHowever, the Japanese manufacturer has gone one step further to help motorists save by offering a much larger £3,750 saving on the bZ4X.
The previous price of £36,995 has been dropped to £33,245 thanks to the brand's "Electrified Saving" promotion, which takes off an additional £2,250 from the list price of the electric vehicle.
The additional savings from Toyota are available on selected self-charging, plug-in hybrid and fully electric models. Drivers have until September 30 to make use of the deal.
It also operates the Toyota Total Confidence campaign, which includes a service-activated warranty that extends a vehicle's cover to up to 10 years/100,000 miles at no extra cost.
