Kia has confirmed that one of its flagship electric vehicles has been upgraded to the maximum incentive through the Government's Electric Car Grant.
The Kia EV4 now qualifies for the £3,750 incentive, up from £1,500, with drivers able to save on both "Air" and "Motion" variants.
Four of Kia's EVs are now eligible for Labour's Electric Car Grant, including the EV2, EV3, EV4 and PV5 Passenger.
Prices for the EV4 will now start from £30,995 for the entry-level Air variant, with a Standard Range 58.3kWh electric battery.
Kia's EV4 Long Range has a staggering price of 388 miles, positioning itself at the forefront of electric vehicles with impressive battery ranges.
The Long Range EV4 will retail from £36,745 once the Electric Car Grant has been added, which does not require any action from the driver when purchasing the vehicle.
Kia has been awarded the higher incentive amount as it strictly adheres to the Government's sustainability rules and the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBIt).
The South Korean brand aims to introduce 15 electric models and 10 hybrid models by the end of the decade as part of its bold net zero plans.

It will also ensure that all manufacturing sites, including the Žilina site in Slovakia, where the EV4 is produced, will be powered by 100 per cent renewable energy by 2040.
Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe, said: "Producing the EV4 locally in Europe strengthens our position in one of the world's most competitive EV markets while ensuring advanced, affordable electric mobility is widely accessible."
In last year's Autumn Budget, Chancellor Rachel Reeves confirmed around £1.3billion in funding to support the Electric Car Grant, bringing the total investment to almost £2billion.
