Drivers are being told to prepare for delays of at least 60 minutes
Drivers are being warned of hours-long delays on the M25 as contractors work to repair roads with miles of standstill traffic and other motorists deal with a broken down vehicle.
National Highways: South East is warning that three of four lanes on the M25 anticlockwise between J13 Heathrow Airport and J12 Thorpe Park are closed.
The transport organisation stated that it was due to a "large pothole", with traffic officers on the scene awaiting contractors for an immediate repair.
At first, drivers were warned of 45 minutes of delays on the approach, although this has since been extended to more than 60 minutes.
