Drivers have been warned to expect delays this morning after an HGV overturned on a major motorway and caused a serious traffic build-up.
The incident has now resulted in the complete closure of the M25 anti-clockwise between J10 (Cobham) and J9 (Leatherhead).
National Highways confirmed the closure at approximately 11am this morning, roughly half an hour after initially stopping vehicles due to the accident.
The lorry remains on its side across the carriageway, preventing any passage through this crucial section of London's orbital motorway during the busy Thursday morning period.
