Fiat has confirmed that its three-wheeled pick-up vans will be on display in the UK for the first time, with suggestions that drivers across the country could get their hands on them soon.

Fiat Professional will debut the electric micromobility vehicle at the UK's Commercial Vehicle Show 2026.

The Tris will be on display at the NEC Birmingham in Halls 4 and 5 from today, Tuesday, April 21, until Thursday, April 23.

The Stellantis-owned manufacturer advertises the Tris as being designed specifically for last-minute deliveries in urban areas.

Unlike other micromobility vehicles already on the market, Fiat Professional have designed the Tris to have just three wheels, in addition to ultra-lightweight architecture.

It noted that this allows businesses to navigate narrow streets, reduce emissions and operate efficiently, especially in busier environments.

The Tris has an electric range of 56 miles, and comes in two variants, including a flatbed and a pick-up.

Drivers heading to the Commercial Vehicle Show will be able to see the Cargo Box pick-up variant, with experts on hand to answer questions.

The pick-up has a generous load area of 2.25 square metres and capacity for two standard pallets, with Fiat describing it as a "compelling solution for parcel delivery".

Kris Cholmondeley, managing director of FIAT Professional, said the brand was "thrilled" to showcase the vehicle for the first time at the Commercial Vehicle Show.

He continued, saying: "Tris is a smart, forward‑thinking answer to the growing demand for efficient last‑mile delivery.

"It combines practicality, sustainability and versatility in a format designed entirely around urban environments."

Fiat Professional said the Tris was "currently being considered for fleet operators in the UK" to broaden its appeal for companies.

The Tris has already launched across Africa and the Middle East as Fiat Professional looks to break down barriers for those looking to switch to electric vehicles.

Fiat Professional designed the Tris at Centro Stile in Italy and manufactures it in Morocco as the Stellantis brand widens its vehicle offering across the world.

Drivers who get their hands on the Tris will be greeted with easy charging options, with recharging available from any standard domestic socket.

Its built-in 220V plug allows motorists to recharge the three-wheeler's 55-mile (90km) range in a matter of hours.

Speaking last year, Olivier Francois, Fiat CEO, and Stellantis global chief marketing officer said: "Tris is more than just a new vehicle - it's a breakthrough in how we think about urban mobility.

"As cities grow and the need for clean, accessible transport becomes more urgent, we saw an opportunity to offer something radically simple and profoundly useful.

"We believe its potential goes far beyond - Europe may be next, because this kind of smart, sustainable solution speaks a universal language."
