Drivers can now secure a huge £1,500 discount on popular vehicles thanks to Labour's new Electric Car Grant, with 19 models now available through the Government incentive scheme.
Vauxhall, Nissan, Renault and Citroen all have electric vehicles that are eligible for the ECG, with motorists able to receive a £1,500 discount on popular models without having to fill in any paperwork or apply for the discount.
The latest update of eligible vehicles for the £650million Electric Car Grant has been described as "very positive" by RAC head of policy Simon Williams, while Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said it was evidence that Labour was working to help drivers invest in cleaner vehicles.
