Motorists could fully charge their electric cars for as little as £5 at home thanks to a new offer from a brand moving towards exclusively selling EVs.
Luxury South Korean brand Genesis Motor has partnered with Ohme, with customers able to install an electric vehicle charger at their homes.
When purchasing a new Genesis vehicle, drivers will benefit from a referral scheme to have a charger installed at their homes.
These chargers also make use of dynamic charging capabilities, meaning drivers can charge their vehicles for much cheaper than someone who isn't on an EV-friendly tariff.
When combined with a dynamic EV tariff, such as Intelligent Octopus Go, drivers could spend as little as £5.88 to fully charge a new Genesis GV60.
This could fully power the GV60's 84kWh battery and deliver a staggering 348 miles of electric range.
Motorists can also choose to charge their vehicle at times when renewable energy generation on the national grid is at its highest.
Commenting on the new partnership, Peter McDonald, Director of Ohme, praised the development as supporting more drivers to switch to electric vehicles.

He said: "We're looking forward to bringing the Ohme benefits of easy charging and low running costs to Genesis customers.
"With Genesis refreshing its line-up of electric models this year, customers not only have an updated product range to choose from but access to all that Ohme can bring to their ownership experience."
Ohme, which is now the brand's exclusive home EV charging partner, also allows drivers to charge their vehicles during off-peak hours, further cutting their costs.
Genesis currently has three electric models on the market, including the GV60 (£54,115), GV70 (£65,915) and the new GV80 (£75,615).

"As a result, we're delighted to partner with Ohme for the benefit of our customers and our retailer network."

The manufacturer said an all-electric future matched its intentions to be ambitious and look ahead to the future.
It announced that it would sell through the stock of petrol and diesel vehicles before focusing exclusively on electric cars.
