Only one manufacturer has more than one model on the top 10 best-selling cars list

Some of the most popular car brands have continued to dominate the UK sales market in the first quarter of the year, with the 10 most popular models selling more than 113,000 vehicles.

While some of the biggest companies in the world have made the best-selling list, including the likes of Ford and Volkswagen, other manufacturers that may not be as well known have also ranked, such as Jaecoo and MG.

With March seeing the registration of 380,000 new vehicles, drivers have a larger choice than ever when getting behind the wheel of their next car, especially as prices drop and more brands develop zero emission options.

GB News has rounded up the best-selling cars in the first three months of the year, according to the latest data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
