Boots has launched its new Wellthy range in response to a surge in demand for electrolytes.
With online searches for "electrolytes" up 755%, the high street store has launched a new brand of hydration kits designed to underscore well-known competitors, like Liquid IV. At 58p per sachet, Boots' Wellthy seriously undercuts the competition stocked in its own shops.
Boots has launched four flavours of Wellthy, with each designed to serve a specialised purpose — radiant skin, energy and focus, rest and restoration, and immune support. Just pour the electrolytes into a glass of water "designed to elevate wellness goals," the packaging instructs.

Boots says each flavoured set is designed to include a range of electrolytes that focus on different areas of your wellness goals:
- Radiant skin: Mixed into a cherry and pomegranate flavour, this blend both hydrates and boosts the look of your skin with ingredients like collagen, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, biotin and zinc
- Energy and focus: Made into a lime and mint flavour, you can boost your energy and keep your focus with a range of vitamins like B6, B12
and C
- Rest and restore: Made with a blueberry flavour, it's set to help your body rest with magnesium glycinate,
vitamin C and lemon balm
- Immune support: To give your immune system a boost, this orange and lemon flavour mix includes six electrolytes plus vitamin D3
and zinc
Priced at only £7 per box, this could underscore competitors with a similar mission like Liquid IV.
With Boots Wellthy, you'll find 12 sachets in a box, which equal 58p per sachet. You can also try individual sachets in a Boots store for only 80p if you don't want to commit to a full box. Liquid IV sells boxes of 16 sachets, but they cost upwards of £19.99 per box — equalling 84p each.
The Boots website also suggests the recent launch has been highly popular, with each option seeing over 100 shoppers adding the item to their baskets.

The high street retailer hasn't stopped their wellness efforts at just releasing their own range, either. In just this last month, over 140 new wellness lines have landed in stores and online — including lines from brands like Nourished, Mirror Water, and Loop.
As a result, Boots has also launched its own exclusive wellness bundles to shop.
