The majority of large Tesco stores across England, Wales and Northern Ireland will open from 8am till 6pm, with stores in Scotland shutting slightly later at 8pm.
There will be no change to opening hours for standard Express stores, except for large Express stores, which will open from 8am to 6pm.

Most Sainsbury's stores will open from 8am to 8pm, with convenience stores open as usual from 7am to 11pm.

Most Co-op convenience stores will open from 7am to 10pm, but the outlet advises customers to check with their local store or online.
Lidl
Lidl has confirmed that over the early May Bank Holiday, its opening hours will vary across the country, so customers should check their local store's opening hours online or via the Lidl Plus app.
The supermarket's store in Edgware Road, London, will open at 8am but shut slightly earlier than usual at 8pm.
