A selection of 'ingenious' gadgets will land in stores on Sunday

Aldi is set to launch its brand-new Life Hacks range this Sunday, featuring smart home gadgets starting from just £5.99.

The collection arrives as smart device ownership reaches new heights across Britain, with 79 per cent of UK households now owning at least one smart gadget.

The discount supermarket's latest middle aisle offerings promise to simplify daily routines through "ingenious" technology.

From automated cleaning solutions to app-controlled kitchen appliances, the range targets time-pressed consumers seeking practical shortcuts for household tasks.

The "life hack heroes" will be available in stores from Sunday, July 13, as part of Aldi's Specialbuys programme, meaning stock will be limited.

The standout product in the range is a Robot Vacuum Cleaner priced at £99.99, which promises to deliver spotless floors without manual effort.

The device features three-stage cleaning capabilities, combining suction, sweeping and mopping functions.

Aldi's vacuum cleaner can be controlled via a smartphone app and is compatible with Google, Alexa, and Siri voice assistants.

The Smart Kettle, priced at £29.99, represents another key offering in the range. The appliance features app control via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, enabling users to switch it on remotely from bed.

With temperature control ranging from 40°C to 100°C and a 'keep warm' function, the kettle caters to Britain's tea-drinking habits.

Research indicates UK consumers drink an average of four cups of tea daily, with 55 per cent preferring tea over coffee.

The kettle boasts a stainless-steel construction with a matte black finish, touchscreen controls, and automatic safety switch-off. Tea etiquette expert Jo Bryant has given the product her endorsement.

Other products in the Life Hacks range include a Wooden Wireless Charging Clock at £14.99, available in black, brown or beige.

The bedside device displays temperature and features MagSafe wireless charging capabilities.

Pet owners can benefit from the Pet Auto Waterer and Pet Auto Feeder, each priced at £5.99.

Both products use auto-gravity design with non-slip rubber bases to ensure pets remain fed and hydrated throughout the day.

Additional items include a Mini Thermal Printer (£9.99) for printing photos and notes, a Smart Adapter (£6.99) for managing smart home devices, and a Fake Safe Assortment (£6.99) designed as either a book or pillar candle for discreetly storing valuables.

Britons looking to kit out their homes further can snap up a "game-changing" collection now.
