A recent survey by Vegamour found that 69 per cent of UK adults agree good haircuts can transform the way they’re feeling.
In contrast, 48 per cent report that a bad hair day can alter their outlook on the day ahead with 21 per cent even missing social occasions to bear with it.
Hair loss in men is usually down to androgenetic alopecia, which is a genetic condition more commonly called male pattern baldness (MPB).
There are treatments available, including medications and laser therapy but not all are available on the NHS and can be costly, as is hair transplant surgery.
Instead, some men turn to wigs as a cheap and pain free way to get the results they desire.
Eamonn and Isabel were joined on GB News’ Breakfast by hair stylist and hair loss specialist, Inanch Emir.
She shared her passion for her job, saying: “Hair is transformative. It has the power to completely change the way you look and more importantly, the way you feel. And I love that.”
